What CEO’s Entrepreneurs, Educators, Government Leaders, Students are saying about Jhet and her presentations from all over:
|
 |
 |
The Tale of Juliet is an inspiring book from a highly motivated, passionate
woman, Jhet. As she has demonstrated in her life, poverty does not have to
be a hindrance to one's growth and success. She has overcome it and other
hurdles in life. With the active participation of many in the innovative One
Special Day project, I am confident that she will succeed again, this time
to help build an eco-village. I hope that will be for one of our indigenous
people tribes. I will be happy to help her make it a model of sustainability
and growth in the four P's—person, people, planet and profit for the common
good. |

Perfect timing. You are an awesome speaker. You know how to draw and keep attention. You are positive, energetic, and articulate. Your story is an amazing example of what you can achieve “if you think you can.”
Dear Jhet:
I would like to congratulate you for the wonderfully written book and for being such an inspiration. I can only say that I have become a great fan of yours.
May your book continue to touch many lives and may your credo of “grateful living” be adopted by many more individuals.
Sincerely,

"Dear Mrs. Jhet:
I am one of those millions of people who had touched by your wonderful experiences, your bravery in facing lifes realities, through your book The Tale Of Juliet.
I am Emily J. Malalay, 25 years young, living in Cebu City, Philippines. Like you Mrs. Jhet, I had experienced a lot of deprivation, a lot of humiliation, that is why when I read your book ?it shakens my whole body because I have experienced those things also, its very very similar with my own experiences, so I am really determined to achieve something bigger through education. I grew up in one of the remote areas in Negros Oriental, we were 9 siblings and I am the youngest. To make it short, we were the poorest of the poor families around there. By Gods grace, I now earned a Bachelors Degree and some Masteral units. I am now working in a Real Estate Company here in Cebu, but I am determined that I would not just end up here, I am determined to pursue all my goals. I swear to myself, like you I can write my own story too, I can have my own book too so that I can share to the less furtunate how to achieve those things which beyond our imaginings. You serve as one of my inspiation Mrs. Jhet, i just finish reading your book. I love your bravery, I love your courage, I love your determination, I love your perseverance. When I was still a child, I always fantazising how does it feel to be rich, and until now, I am still longing for that.
There is a fire burning within my heart to achieve those goals, and your book kindled more of my desires. Hinahangaan kita Mrs. Jhet. I will always bring your book wherever I will be going. How I wish to see you in person, I will be very happy then. How I wish to be one of your friends. One thing I admire you the most is that you did trust within yourself only, but, you are trusting the most High God, that is why God lead you to the right way.
Hoping to hear from you also Mrs. Jhet.
God Bless you the more," |

"December 19, 2005
Dear Ma'am Jhet,
I am sorry if i had addressed you formally ma'am, i just don't know how to express my deep respect for you but through addressing you as a teacher.
I am Maria Angela A. Daub, a student nurse who (fortunately) just passed the nursing licensure exam this december 2005. I'm 21 years old and am in need of inspiration and motivation to start up with my life independently=)
I have just finished reading your "Tale of Juliet" and I was filled with awe and inspiration (just what I needed) with your life story. You really know how to touch the hearts of your countrymen ma'am with the way you write, makakarelate po talaga ang mga pinoy.
I would like to share to you ma'am that after reading your so-called life book,”The Tale Of Juliet – You Have The Power To Change Your Life, then and there, you became one of my idols. I was reading it page by page while I was anxiously waiting for our board exam's result. It made me think for a while "what would life be after the board?"..."what would become of me?"..."how would I deal with life?"..."what if i would pass?"..."what if i would fail?"...and the like. Your book somehow opened up to me how the real world runs and how i should face it.
Your being confident and determined ma'am inspired me the most. I would like also to attest with the things you shared about 'Divine interventions.' God really is always there listening to us, guiding us, empowering us, and comforting us. I have asked a lot of things from the Lord, and He has granted most of these. He has always been good to me. Yet what I fear most now is that I could never consider any problem I had as a 'big problem,' the one that most people would say as those that made them reach their 'turning point' in life...and so I fear that when this so-called turning point would come, I may not be geared enough to face my battle and fight. But you had somehow shared me insights and weapons that would protect me from life's battles through your story – through The Tale Of Juliet, ma'am, and for this, I am deeply indebted in you.
I thank you so much ma'am and may God bless you and your family always. More power to thee!
Sincerely yours," |

"Dear Jhet,
Congratulations on your new, magnificent book! My name is Gill, and I live in Manhattan. I found your book recently at a National Bookstore in Metro Manila. My wife is from Naga City in the Bikol region, we have been married almost eight years and so I have been in the Philippines several times.
I am so glad for you that you have achieved so much happiness and success. Your life story is a beacon of light and hope for all of us, whether in the Philippines, the United States, or Canada.
I have stayed at the Mandarin Oriental a few times with my wife, we ate once at Tin Hau in celebration of her birthday, and I have eaten several times-breakfasts and lunch at the Paseo de Uno restaurant where I saw you have been also; in one of the pictures from your book.
I have books by two of the authors you are pictured with: T. Harv Eker and David Bach. Also, I have just signed on to be an educational consultant with Discovery Toys, in part due to your having been with them and successful in the past; and in part, because I am looking into network marketing and other possible opportunities for passive and residual income based on 'Secrets of the Millionaire Mind' by T. Harv Eker.
I wish you and your family all the best for continued health and happiness. I would be honored and look forward to sharing e-mail correspondence with you, as I truly enjoyed your book.
Best Wishes," |

"Dear Jhet:
I was reading “The Tale Of Juliet” last week. I was blown away by reading. It was awesome, brilliant, mind blowing, motivating, inspiring life changing experience for me. Never in my life have I come across a book like this that got me so inspired.
You truly are an angel to me. Over couple of months I was so lazy with no goals in mind. I took life as it was. Had not thought about my career or seeing myself for 5 years from now.
Reading The Tale Of Juliet, has helped me set goals in life and finding ways to accomplish it. My, my, my Jhet I am just lost for words just reading the courage and faith in God to come this far.
I found out how to climb the ladder of success coz, you kept thanking God in everything and always asked Him before making any next move.
It’s interesting to read how people fulfill their dreams in life but it’s even more exciting to actually read about someone like you to even go that far and fulfill your dream when someone like me is standing on a cross road.
I guess you are the one who has restarted the fire in me to go to college finish my studies, graduate and work for a good company. It was thrilling to know you climb the ladder to success from moving to another thing when you found the current job uninteresting.
Here are some of the stuff I wrote down from your book that inspired me;
Pg. 179
• No goal was too big when you truly set your mind to achieve it.
Page 187
• To be the best that we can be and to share our God-given talent with others.
Page 188
• It is better to be rich than to be poor. Why settle for less, if you can be and do so much more.
Page 190
• The power of prayer, the strength of vision, a burning desire and unwavering determination can change the course of one’s life.
Jhet you truly are an angel of determination to me. I’ll be looking forward to hearing from you. God Bless
Love," |

Jhet as Motivational Speaker. Jhet hits the mark as motivational speaker. She shines like the sun. She walks the walk and talks the talk. She knows what she is talking about and lives it, tells about it. She knows people ought to live and tell about it, too, in their own magical sweet way. She believes, and so she makes you believe. She loves, and is out to make the world see that it is all about that, and the powerful change begins. Jhet's personality and energy is infectuous, powerful; it picks you up if you are down, it perks you up if you are sluggish, and adds a gait to your already upward-beating heart if you are happy. She makes you believe. She makes you see. She makes you affirm. She makes you claim. Jhet is electric and she lights up a room, sets it afire. Burns it to the ground if already lit. Her story is powerful. It makes people stop and listen, and find their own stories mirrored there... wheels turning again... Hoping, dreaming, feeling, beginning, again... POWERFUL!!! But all this energy did not consume. It led everything rightly in the direction of the goal. Spontaneity holding hands with structure, Jhet was tempered - she followed the powerpoint presentation as guide, and so all the points she needed to make in a short period of time was captured, covered. Jhet delivered everything perfectly, with perfectly timed poses, intonations, and emphatic feeling, making the presentation very effective. People rose and fell with her, responded well to her, she connected to them; they laughed with her, exclaimed and resolved with her, held their breaths with her, even cried with her, bought books for her, and you can see that the engagement made an impact to them, changing their perceptions and attitudes about life, after.
